Dr. Abelina Gaona (Dr. Abby) purchased Cottage Animal Clinic from Dr. Billy Manning in 2014. Since then, she has continued to provide pet owners in Stantonsburg, NC; Wilson, NC; Goldsboro, NC; and Greenville, NC with reliable clinic and emergency veterinarian care.
Surrounded by a caring, knowledgeable staff, Cottage Animal Clinic continues to be a great resource for small animals and their owners. As our veterinary clinic was founded in 2008, our facility is brand new! When our facility was constructed, it was done so with the environment in mind. The Home Energy Company, Inc. implemented many "green" features into the design, which help save money on operating costs.

- Walls and roof are made of Structurally Insulated Panels (SIPS) - basically dense Styrofoam between pieces of plywood
- Geothermal system for heating and cooling
- Solar hot water
- Radiant floor heating
- Low-E argon-filled double-paned windows

- Low-flow sinks and toilet
- Semi-pervious gravel parking lot
- Landscaping using native vegetation
